What This Site Is

Review of a Review is a satirical meta-review publication. We review reviews. That's it. Our content is commentary and criticism — sometimes serious, often humorous, always opinionated. Nothing on this site should be taken as professional advice, objective fact, or a reason to send angry emails.

No Affiliation

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of the publications, platforms, or reviewers we critique. When we reference IGN, Pitchfork, The New York Times, or any other outlet, we are doing so as independent commentators. Their trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.

The opinions expressed in our meta-reviews are ours alone and do not represent the views of the original reviewers, their employers, or anyone else.

Fair Use of Review Quotes

We quote excerpts from published reviews for the purpose of commentary, criticism, and parody — all of which are protected under fair use (17 U.S.C. § 107). We always credit the original source and link to the full review.

We use only brief excerpts necessary to support our critique. If you are a reviewer or publication and believe we have used your content improperly, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

Satirical Content Disclaimer

Much of our content is written with a satirical, irreverent, or humorous tone. Our ratings of reviews (e.g., "We give this review a 3/10") are subjective opinions about the quality of the review itself — not about the product being reviewed.

If a piece on this site made you upset, please consider: we are reviewing reviews. This is at least two layers of abstraction from anything that actually matters. Take a breath.

User-Generated Content

When you cast a vote (agree/disagree) on a review, you are contributing a small piece of anonymous data. By voting, you agree that:

• Your vote is anonymous and cannot be retracted through us (clear your browser's localStorage to reset locally)
• We may display aggregate vote counts publicly
• You will not attempt to manipulate vote counts through automated means
• One vote per review per browser is the intended limit — please respect it

Intellectual Property

Original content on this site — including our meta-reviews, commentary, design, and branding — is owned by Unstable Entity. You may share links and brief quotes with attribution, but don't republish our content in full without permission.

Screenshots, logos, and excerpts from third-party reviews are used under fair use for commentary purposes and remain the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

This site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep things accurate and running, but we make no guarantees.

Specifically:

• We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our content
• We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites we link to
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved in Finnish courts.
